About Us:
The original purpose of Bible Buddies was to establish, in a Christian manner, a way to keep Bibles in our school. God had much bigger plans. Over the last two years, Bible Buddies has been blessed to give over 6,000 Bibles and Bible story books to children, but also we have been allowed to furnish Bibles to the chaplins of several hospitals to be used in their ministry. We have furnished Bibles to the chaplain at one of the Prisons in our area. Bible Buddies gave out Bibles and books at the annual Christmas parade in Whiteville and at youth rallies in Columbus County. We have sent Bibles on misson trips with volunteers to be distributed in Hungary, Mexico, Russia, and all across the United States. Bible Buddies volunteers helped with Beaverdam Christmas childrens program to wrap gifts purchased through the Christmas Childrens fund and supplied Bibles and Bible story books that were given with each child's gift. Our human nature tends to place boundaries on what God is capable of, but when we allow God to lead, the possibilities are endless. What began as an idea to keep Bibles avaliable to our school children, has grown into a ministry that shares "...the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
Our Purpose:
The desire of Bible Buddies is to share the love of Jesus Christ . By giving the gift of a Bible, our prayer is that everyone will have to opportunity to also accept the free gift of eternal life given by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
What Can You Do?
We ask for your prayers as we strive to do God's will in the Bible Buddies Ministry. Please pray that God will always stay the focus of our endeavors and that the seeds planted will find firm ground to grow in God's word. Prayer is our main request. If you are led to make a donation to this ministry, please be assured that 100% of all donations go toward the purchase of the Bibles, New Testaments and Christian Children Bible story books we distribute. No donations are every used to purchase anything other than those items. Thank you so much for your prayers and support!
